Global Marketing Budgets Are Cautiously Improving in 2013

According the latest Global Marketing Index (GMI), global marketing budgets are staying strong - showing a recorded index value of 51.1.  Note:  A score above 50 indicates a generally improving environment, while a score below 50 indicates a generally declining environment.

The GMI was established in 2011 with the purpose of providing a unique monthly indicator of expenditure and business conditions for marketers worldwide.
Looking at the budget component breakdown by region, the data reveals that marketers in the Americas are still the most bullish, with a reading of 55.8.
